 Emery Trio

Emory Trio The Emery Trio is a premiere piano trio based in Cincinnati, Ohio, which strives to present a more varied program than trios traditionally offer. While each of the members is a heralded soloist and appears regularly in recital and concerto performances, they are also accomplished chamber musicians, who complete their artistic lives performing small ensemble masterpieces. Indeed, Homer Ulrich of Chamber Music America referred to this phenomenon when he said, "The professional musician turns to chamber music for relaxation and for a kind of pleasure that no other field offers." The Emery Trio strives to project that pleasure in their performances and to infect audiences with the same love for this music that they feel.

The Emery Trio has been featured on regional NPR public radio broadcasts and has been invited to perform and give master classes at colleges and music festivals in the United States; most recently for Illinois State University, the University of Georgia, the University of Tennessee, and the Governor's Honors Program of both Kentucky and Georgia. They present programs that cast the performers in duo, solo and trio combinations, providing the listener a variety of literature and texture that no other piano trio offers.
